Urbanized Area Outline Maps (Census 2000)
Regarding the file naming convention, 'UUUUU' represents the 5-digit urbanized area code and '##' represents the map sheet number. For each urbanized area, the total number of map sheets is listed, followed by the 5-digit UA code, and the UA name. In instances where there is only one map sheet for a given UA, the link will launch ADOBE Acrobat Reader® software and open the PDF map file directly. In instances where an UA contains more than one map sheet, the link connects to a directory for that UA. This directory contains the index sheet 'uaUUUUU_00.pdf' and the associated map sheets (uaUUUUU_##.pdf) for that particular UA.
